How to create DVD slideshow without automatic feature?

How would I create a DVD slideshow for a picture presentation in which the pictures do not automatically advance?  In other words, taking the remote and go picture by picture through the slideshow.  That’s it, don’t need audio or transitions, etc.

Now I thought this would be simple for you guys, where’s my help? :)
Just to clarify.  I can easily create a dvd slideshow, including adjusting the lengh of time a slide will display before going onto the next slide.
